Established on June 24, 1982, BC Regensdorf swiftly underwent a name transition within a year, adopting the title of Olympia Basket Regensdorf. This designation became synonymous with commendable achievements and the consistent advancement of our esteemed fanion teams over a span exceeding 15 years.

Nearly a decade following its inception, a remarkable milestone was reached in 1995 as both our women's and men's teams ascended to the prestigious National League A. However, the journey was not without its challenges, as financial constraints necessitated a temporary withdrawal and the subsequent reconfiguration of our organizational framework. Nonetheless, our commitment to sporting excellence remains unwavering, poised to navigate through adversity and emerge stronger than ever before.

The ascension of the U18 Falcons to the ranks of the eight strongest teams in Switzerland has infused our community with a palpable sense of optimism. Looking ahead, the upcoming season promises to be marked by even greater strides as the U18 Falcons, U16 Crows, and U14 Eagles prepare to showcase their talents in the Interserie of German-speaking Switzerland. Notably, the recent formation of the U10 Swans, an all-girls team, underscores our commitment to inclusivity and growth, achieved in a remarkably brief span of less than three years.

With a thriving membership approaching 200 young enthusiasts, our club proudly ranks among the largest within the northeastern Swiss basketball association, ProBasket. This achievement not only reflects our dedication but also serves as a testament to the vibrant basketball culture we've cultivated.

In tandem with these accomplishments, our steadfast commitment to nurturing young talents is unwavering. Through the implementation of a new support and development framework tailored to our emerging stars, we are steadfastly enhancing our training standards, poised to meet the exacting requirements set forth by Swiss Olympic. Together, as a community united by our passion for the game, we're poised to embrace the journey ahead with unwavering enthusiasm and commitment to excellence.

Basketball Regensdorf, comprising all youth teams spanning from the U6 to U18 age categories, stands as the cornerstone of our robust youth department, nurturing the talents that will shape the future of Phönix Basket's elite teams.

Our commitment to youth development has yielded remarkable success, evidenced by a threefold increase in our youth cohort over the past four years. Anticipating the upcoming 2023/2024 season, we proudly announce our participation in the regional championships, fielding a total of 13 youth teams. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptional progress witnessed within the girls' segment, reflecting a flourishing trajectory of growth and achievement.
